Vignalta Sea Salt with Herbs, 300g

This herbed salt has a very committed following among our customers. For most who try it, they wonder how they ever got along without it. It is made by the Italian wine producer Vignalta in the Colli Euganei in Northeast Italy. Fresh (not dried) rosemary, sage, black pepper and garlic are added to Sicilian sea salt, allowing the aromatic oils of the fresh herbs & garlic to be preserved in the salt. The result is a salt with far more flavor than others that are infused with dull, dried herbs. Perfect on grilled meats, tossed with cooked vegetables, in dressings, marinades and rubs.
