Caffe Umbria was founded in 2002 when third-generation coffee roaster, Emanuele Bizzari, partnered with Jesse Sweeney and Pasquale Madeddu. Emanuele’s coffee roots date back to Perugia, Italy, when his grandfather started roasting artisanal Italian-style blends in the 1940s. Emanuele moved to Seattle in the early 90s to join his father, Umberto, in his local roasting business.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art roaster, a great passion for blending and roasting, and some of the best coffee varietals from around the world, Emanuele created a handful of blends with distinctive flavor profiles. DeLaurenti got a jump on the rest of the country and became Caffe Umbria’s first wholesale customer. Since then, we’ve sold thousands of pounds of their coffee. Today, hundreds of cafés and fine dining establishments throughout North America have chosen Caffe Umbria as the best coffee for their customers.

Gusto Crema is Caffe Umbria’s flagship blend. A medium roast that has been blended and tasted for espresso, it features beans from Brazil, Guatemala and Colombia. Creamy in body with a sweetness that lasts through the finish, it is the only coffee we use in our cafe for espresso. It also makes an extraordinary pour over coffee. We use FedEx to ship same-day (order by 2 P.M.) throughout the greater Seattle area. Overnight shipping is available for other locations. Every shipment is guaranteed. If something is off, we’ll make it right through a refund or a prompt replacement. As long as your order is in by 3 P.M. (Monday-Thursday), we ship the same day. All of our packaging material is recyclable or compostable.
